I got the job! (day 26)

I just received an email saying that I got the job, and I start training on Tuesday!

This morning, I went to the block with Jenny to watch the movie 50/50. It was a little more serious than I had anticipated, but I still really liked it. LOVE Joseph Gordon-Levitt. 

After that, I went to our schools Opening Celebration for our community clinic and helped conduct a simulation of the clinic. All I had to do was sit behind the one way mirror and listen in on the conversation of the hypothetical session that was occurring. It was a little intimidating to see how good the MFT student was at conducting the session, and I wondered how long it would take me to get to where she was at. At least, I don’t have to worry about that for another couple semesters! 

Afterward, I went to get dinner and drinks with a few of the other MFT students at Haven Gastropub. It’s taken awhile to start to get to know the other students, but I’m glad it’s finally happening. 

It’s been a good day! : )

Now, it’s time to continue studying for my last midterm…
